Jamie’s new 2019 Genesis G70 Sport in Havana Red.
Once again, we treated ourselves to our annual winter tradition of seeing Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) bring their winter tour to St Paul.
Since we had great seats on the main floor's center section in row 3, I brought Becky's Canon G3X and got a collection of images!
What a great day to see a good friend marry his special lady and bring two families together!
The Historic Lowell Inn in downtown Stillwater was the perfect setting!
As captured from the second camera during the wedding day!
In August of 2016, my parents invited all of the kids and their families to spend a week at East Silent Lake in Otter Tail Lakes County, Minnesota in honor of their 50th Anniversary.
It was a pretty fun week with everyone together in a large house-sized cabin. Unfortunately, Becky could only stay the weekend and I was suffering from some bad vertigo!
The week was spent fishing, photographing Loons, a visit to our old cabin on Crane Lake and lunch in Battle Lake along with visits to Phelps Mill. I also took Sarah and Tyler to Itasca State Park - home to the headwaters of the Mighty Mississippi River.
Becky & I spent a week at the Lutsen Sea Villas in June of 2016. We really like this resort as you have a nice, cozy cabin right on the shore of Lake Superior. It has a full kitchen and wood-burning stove, should it cool down in the evenings.
We explored a few of our favorite locations but we had pretty bad weather most days.
Memorial Day of 2016, I headed to Fort Snelling National Cemetery. I was meeting a few photographer friends but also paying my respects to my veteran grandfather (US Navy) and grandmother who are interred here.
Fort Snelling is a very somber place to be but I enjoy trying to respectfully capture the grounds.
Becky & I spent a week at Eagle Ridge Resort in Lutsen, MN back in the fall of 2015.
We spent a good bit of time visiting many of the area waterfalls as well as Oberg Mountain.
We even got to witness a few nights of the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights.
Another trip to Lutsen and a stay at the Lutsen Sea Villas.
As usual, we visited a few state parks and explored many of the waterfalls in the area.
So much to see and so much to take in within a relatively short time!
